When you get sick

As you woke up that morning, you felt a strange heaviness in your body, a dull ache that seemed to seep into every bone. Your head throbbed with a persistent pain, and your throat felt like sandpaper.

"Are you okay?" Bakugou's voice startled you out of your misery. He was already up and dressed, his usual scowl replaced by a look of concern.

"I don't feel so good," you admitted, your voice barely a whisper.

Bakugou immediately sprang into action, pressing the back of his hand against your forehead. His touch was warm, a comforting contrast to the chill that had settled over your body.

"You're burning up," he muttered, his voice laced with worry. "I'm going to get you some medicine."

He disappeared into the kitchen, leaving you to curl up under the covers, shivering despite the warmth of the room. The world seemed to be spinning around you, your senses overwhelmed by the onslaught of illness.

When Bakugou returned, he was carrying a steaming mug and a bottle of pills. He helped you sit up, carefully spooning the medicine into your mouth.

"Drink this," he commanded, his voice laced with concern.

You obediently swallowed the medicine, its bitter taste making you wince. Bakugou handed you the mug, and you took a sip of the warm liquid, its soothing warmth spreading through your body.

"Stay in bed," he ordered, his voice firm yet gentle. "I'll bring you breakfast when it's ready."

You nodded, too weak to argue. Bakugou tucked you back under the covers, adjusting them to your liking. He placed a kiss on your forehead, his touch lingering for a moment before he pulled away.

"Get some rest," he said softly. "I'll take care of everything."

You closed your eyes, letting his words wash over you like a wave of comfort. Despite your discomfort, you felt a sense of peace knowing that Bakugou was there to take care of you.

As the day went on, Bakugou remained at your bedside, checking on you regularly and bringing you whatever you needed. He read to you, told you stories, and even watched your favorite movies with you. His presence was a constant source of comfort, a reminder that you were not alone in your illness.

By the time evening rolled around, you were feeling much better. The fever had broken, and the aches and pains had subsided. You were still a little weak, but you were grateful for Bakugou's unwavering care.

"Thank you for taking care of me," you said, your voice still a little hoarse.

Bakugou shrugged, his usual gruff demeanor replaced by a hint of shyness. "It was nothing," he mumbled.

You leaned in and kissed his cheek, your gesture filled with gratitude and affection. Bakugou blushed.

"I love you," you whispered.

"Love you too," he replied, his voice rough with emotion.

You snuggled closer to him, enjoying the warmth of his embrace. The world outside seemed to fade away, leaving only you and Bakugou, lost in your love for each other.

The next morning, you woke up feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. The remnants of your illness had vanished, leaving you feeling like a new person.

You stretched languidly under the covers, savoring the warmth of the bed. A smile crept onto your face as you thought about Bakugou's unwavering care during your sickness. He had been so attentive and gentle, always making sure you had everything you needed.

You decided to surprise him with breakfast in bed. You tiptoed into the kitchen, careful not to wake him, and began preparing a simple meal of toast, eggs, and fruit. As you plated the food, you couldn't help but hum to yourself, feeling a sense of happiness and contentment.

When you returned to the bedroom, Bakugou was still asleep, his spiky hair peeking out from under the covers. You placed the tray on the bedside table and gently shook him awake.

"Wake up, sleepyhead," you teased. "I made you breakfast."

Bakugou groaned and rubbed his eyes, but he couldn't suppress a smile when he saw the tray of food. "Thanks," he mumbled, his voice still thick with sleep.

You sat beside him on the bed and watched as he devoured the breakfast you had prepared. He ate with gusto, his usual gruff demeanor replaced by a look of pure enjoyment.

"This is delicious," he said, taking another bite. "Where did you learn to cook like that?"

You laughed. "I just threw something together," you said. "I'm glad you like it."

Bakugou finished his breakfast and leaned back against the headboard, a satisfied sigh escaping his lips. "I'm glad I have you," he said, his eyes meeting yours.

You leaned in and kissed him, your heart overflowing with love and affection. "I love you too, Bakugou," you whispered.

He pulled you closer, his embrace warm and comforting. You spent the rest of the morning cuddling in bed, enjoying each other's company.

As the sun began to set, Bakugou suggested going for a walk. You agreed, eager to get some fresh air and enjoy the beautiful weather.

You walked hand-in-hand through the park, the soft glow of the setting sun casting a warm light on everything around you. You talked about anything and everything, your laughter echoing through the quiet evening air.

As you walked, you couldn't help but feel grateful for Bakugou. He was your best friend, your lover, and your soulmate. You knew that you could always count on him, no matter what.

When it was time to go home, you felt a pang of sadness. You didn't want to leave Bakugou's side. But you knew that you would see him again soon.

As you said goodbye, you gave him a long, lingering hug. "I love you," you whispered against his ear.

"I love you too," he replied, his voice filled with affection.

You watched as he walked away, his fiery blonde hair disappearing into the distance. You smiled to yourself, knowing that you were the luckiest person in the world.
