He is toxic to you

You sat on the edge of the bed, hands wrapped tightly around your knees, tears streaming down your face. The fight, like so many others, had been brutal. Bakugou's words, sharp and laced with venom, still echoed in your ears.

"(Y/N), you're useless! You can't even do anything right!"

His voice, usually a fiery roar, was now laced with disappointment and disgust. It felt like a physical blow, stripping away your self-worth piece by piece.

"You're pathetic," he had growled, his eyes burning with anger. "I don't know why I even waste my time with you."

His words were like a punch to the gut, leaving you breathless and reeling. You loved him, desperately, but his constant negativity and criticism were slowly suffocating you.

The silence in the room was deafening. You knew you should leave, that this relationship wasn't healthy, but the thought of being without him was unbearable.

"(Y/N)," he sighed, running a hand through his spiky blonde hair. "Look, I didn't mean what I said."

His voice was softer now, but the damage was done. His words had cut deep, leaving scars that wouldn't easily heal.

"I do care about you," he continued, but his words lacked conviction.

You looked up at him, your eyes filled with hurt and confusion. "Do you, Katsuki? Or are you just afraid to be alone?"

His eyes narrowed, and he turned away from you. "Don't put words in my mouth, (Y/N)."

You knew the answer, deep down. He loved the idea of you, the possession, but he didn't love the person you truly were. He didn't love your flaws, your vulnerabilities, your pain.

Tears welled up in your eyes again. "I can't do this anymore, Katsuki," you whispered, your voice barely a tremor.

He looked back at you, surprise flashing across his face. "What do you mean?"

"I mean, I'm done. I'm done with the fights, the insults, the constant negativity," you said, your voice rising with each word. "I deserve more than this, Katsuki. I deserve to be loved, respected, and cherished."

He opened his mouth to protest, but you held up a hand, silencing him. "Don't," you said, your voice firm. "There's nothing left to say."

You stood up, your legs shaky but determined. You walked past him, ignoring the flicker of pain in his eyes. You knew it wouldn't be easy, but you were finally choosing yourself.

As you walked out the door, you took a deep breath, the cold air filling your lungs with a sense of freedom. You were free from the toxic grip of a relationship that had eroded your self-worth.

The road ahead would be long and challenging, but you knew you were strong enough to face it. You had finally found your voice, and you would no longer let anyone dim your light.

You walked out of the apartment and into the crisp night air. The cool breeze felt good against your tear-stained cheeks, a stark contrast to the burning anger and hurt that still simmered within you.

As you walked, you replayed the argument in your head, each harsh word echoing with fresh pain. But amidst the negativity, a new feeling bloomed: defiance.

You had spent too long walking on eggshells, afraid to be yourself because of his criticisms. You had dimmed your light so he wouldn't see your imperfections, but in doing so, you had lost sight of the vibrant person you truly were.

No more.

Tonight, you reclaim your voice. Tonight, you choose self-love.

Walking into your favorite park, you felt the familiar comfort of the ancient trees and the gentle glow of the moon. Here, surrounded by nature's beauty, you knew you would find the strength to move forward.

Taking a deep breath, you closed your eyes and focused on the sound of your own heartbeat. It was a steady rhythm, a reminder of your inner strength, of your resilience.

Slowly, a smile crept onto your face. You were free. Free from the negativity, free from the emotional abuse, free to be yourself.

The future was uncertain, but you were no longer afraid. You carried the lessons learned from this experience as armor, a shield against anyone who tried to dim your light.

You were not just surviving, you were thriving. You were ready to face the world with your head held high, knowing that you were worthy of love and happiness.

And as the dawn approached, painting the sky in hues of pink and orange, a new dawn broke within you. It was the dawn of a new chapter, a chapter where you were the author, the hero of your own story.

You stood tall, the cool night air invigorating your lungs. The sting of tears slowly faded, replaced by a newfound resolve. You had walked on eggshells for too long, sacrificing your true self for the sake of a relationship that was slowly draining your spirit.

Tonight, you took a stand. Tonight, you chose to prioritize your own well-being and happiness.

You were free. Free to be the person you truly were, flaws and all. Free to pursue your own dreams and aspirations, free to surround yourself with people who loved and cherished you for who you were.

The road ahead might be uncertain, but you were no longer afraid. You carried the lessons learned from this experience, not as burdens, but as stepping stones towards a brighter future. You were not just surviving, you were thriving.

And as the sun rose, casting its warm light upon the world, you knew that you were ready to face whatever came next. You were whole, you were strong, and you were worthy of all the love and happiness the world had to offer.
